Amanda Wilder
Deputy Chief Probation Officer (DCPO)
Deputy Chief Amanda Wilder started with the Probation Department in 2000 and has worked in every division. She started her career in detention as a Group Counselor. She has served as an officer supervising domestic violence, pretrial monitoring, re- alignment, and juvenile clients. Special Assignments have included the Family Focused Intervention Team, Probation Officers on Campus, Teen Court, Justice Systems, Reconnect, and lead Field training officer.
DCPO Wilder served as an instructor for OC, ART, CPOC Leadership Academy, Probation Officer CORE, and also served as Peer Support Coordinator for 10+ years.
DCPO Wilder is a lifelong resident of San Joaquin County and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stanislaus State University. She is proud to serve the residents of San Joaquin County through the work of the Probation Department.
