Assistant Deputy Chief Probation Officer Agraz-Vaca has been a probation officer for 19 years. She began her career with San Joaquin County in 1996 as a Child Support Officer. In 2006, she was hired by the Probation Department and made her way through the ranks of Probation Officer, Senior Deputy Probation Officer and Probation Unit Supervisor. In March 2024, she was promoted to Assistant Deputy Chief Probation Officer (ADCPO).
ADCPO Agraz-Vaca has supervised and worked in all divisions within the probation organization throughout her career. She has been worked in Juvenile Investigations, Juvenile Assessments, Probation Officers on Campus, Crossroads (CAPS), Professional Standards, Detention Transportation, Youth Advocacy, Community Supervision, Electronic Monitoring, Programming, AB 109 Realignment Assessments Unit, Adult Investigations, Adult Conditional Restitution, and Adult Proposition 63. She is currently the Assistant Deputy Chief Probation Officer overseeing the AB109 Realignment Division.
ADCPO Agraz-Vaca is a firm believer in working collaboratively with other governmental agencies, community-based organizations, clients, and victims to continue to work towards promoting a safer community. She strives to be innovative and inquisitive in utilizing available resources and seeking additional resources that may aid clients in their transition back to the community.
