Probation Officers have recently arrested an individual who is on probation for various charges related to domestic violence, willful cruelty to a child, and multiple counts of violating a criminal protective order.
Our officers discovered this client had violated his criminal protective order (CPO) when his GPS tracking device indicated his presence at a victim’s residence. In addition, to the CPO violation, he also allowed his GPS device to power down for an extended period of time.
Consequently, this individual was arrested for violating his probation and is currently in custody. Upon his release, he will be placed back on GPS monitoring and re-referred to his treatment program.
We remain committed to ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to address the behavior of individuals involved in domestic violence cases, and to safeguard the well-being of our community.
