AB109 High Risk and Violent Crimes Units Successfully Execute Bench Warrant Reduction Mission

Our High Risk and Violent Crimes units collaborated to carry out a bench warrant reduction mission, and we are pleased to share the following outcomes:

Number of Attempted Contacts: 4
Contraband Seized: Drug paraphernalia

During our initial visit to a target residence, we made contact with three probation clients. While two of them were found to be in compliance with their probation conditions, the third individual was not! This client had an active bench warrant for failing to comply with their Compliance Court conditions. The client was arrested and referred back to residential treatment. Furthermore, during our search of the residence, officers discovered drug paraphernalia and white crystal-like substances. These substances were subjected to testing, which yielded presumptive positive results for methamphetamine. The total weight of the seized substances amounted to 4.84 grams.

A second arrest was made when Probation Officers made contact with a client who was squatting at a vacant apartment complex. This individual also had an active bench warrant for failing to report to their probation officer and violating the conditions of their probation.

We are proud of the collaborative efforts of our High Risk and Violent Crimes units, which led to the successful execution of this bench warrant reduction mission. These results demonstrate our commitment to ensuring compliance with probation conditions and addressing high-risk individuals involved in violent crimes.
