San Joaquin County Probation and the Lodi Police Department Conduct a Joint Compliance Search Operation

On May 11, 2024, San Joaquin County Probation Officers and the Lodi Police Department collaborated to carry out a joint compliance search operation in the City of Lodi and surrounding areas including, Woodbridge, Acampo, and Lockeford.

The following is a summary of their results:

Contraband Seized: Six replica firearms, ammunition, illegally possessed prescription medication, and numerous checks, debit/credit cards, and mail

• A search was conducted at a residence where two minors on probation reside. With the assistance of Probation K9 Colt, officers located three replica firearms, and several large bags of marijuana. An adult at the residence claimed ownership of the marijuana. Both minors will receive a violation of probation for possessing the replica firearms.

• Officers contacted three probation clients at a single residence, there they located two replica firearms and prescription medication. All items were seized.

• Officers contacted a client who is currently on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for felony possession of a firearm and controlled substances. Upon searching the residence, ammunition was located which is a violation. The client was arrested and transported to the San Joaquin County Jail.
  
• A client, currently on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for felon in possession of a firearm, was located at their residence. A search was conducted, and several debit/credit cards and mail were located indicating involvement in identity theft/mail fraud. All items were confiscated for further investigation.
